Good time to play Newport?

Post by Pigman »

I see they've lost 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 games and are on a hat-trick of consecutive defeats if we win. With the renewed confidence last night's fightback must give our side, surely Saturday is set up for the boys to really prove themselves. Newport's confidence won't be high, they've lost Holdsworth too - an ideal time to play them. I'm not underestimating them, but we can go there with renewed confidence now. Had we rolled over and died last night I'd say differently.

Mills and Smith changed the game last night I understand, but is Sam a starter? I've only ever seen him make an impact when he comes on as sub - time for the lad to start and deliver methinks.

Extra lessons for Prosser and Thorne this week Justin, with your experience you should be able to drill the defence to act as one - Osano and Day just need a kick up their collective arses !! They're good enough, they just need to start delivering.
