Fair point , but would a Saturday car boot deplete sellers /buyers from the sunday car boot ?
and would you need to use same stewards that either do sunday car boot or football stewarding as they are all trained in stewarding ? not sure of any legal reasons if you have to use trained stewards or not
do we know if proceeds from Sunday car boot are going to trust or club/beasants ?

I guess they go to the club/Beasants but don't quote me on that one.

I've had an idea as my Dad's business own laser gaming equipment, an inflatable rodeo, inflatable human table-football, an inflatable football goal for penalty shoot-outs etc and an inflatable twister game. He could run these, maybe for £1 a go (obviously with the help of volunteers) at local schools perhaps or wherever anyone would suggest? As clearly being a school there would be problems with timetable etc. These activities are useful because even if the kids don't necessarily care about us they will part with money for these various activities. We could have bucket collections on the days to help aswel just incase people actually do want to directly help the club. I'm going to speak to teachers at rushden senior school tomorrow to see if anything could happen, but in the case it can't any suggestions are welcome as if we get this right we could raise quite abit from a 'funday' kind of even.

I know we used to have Snooker tournaments down at the club, could that possibly be looked into?

I seem to remember we got some big names to come down, off the top of my head I remember Steven Hendry, Ken Doherty, Peter Ebdon took part.

My granddad is a big snooker fan, and know for a fact he would go down to watch if it was possible.

Only possible problem I could think of was that we would have to pay A LOT of money to even get the big names to consider it.

Has the club got anywhere that would be suitable to host exhibition matches? If we had the facilities, is it possible we could make money out of it?
