Thanks Harriers9. Not sure if there is anything official/club organised tomorrow, but if you want to make a donation. you could come to the Supporters Cabin (on the South East cornet of the Stadium - near the car parks) [we sell Programmes, wristbands, and 50/50 there], and we can make sure it gets passed to the right people after the game.

I'll try and track down the official link for donations - there was an online way to do it also.

I've put the details of the Memorial fund at the bottom of the article on the OWS. It was also possible to use those details to make a donation via online banking when they were first published, so I guess that is still the case.

Katie has been doing poetry at school, specifically memorial poems. She chose to dedicate hers to Dale and I thought you guys might like to read it. Keep in mind that she's 11 and Dale was her favourite player....

I Miss You

I miss you more each passing day,
The way you laughed, the way you played,
It’ll never be the same again,
Without you there down at the Nene.

Why did you have to go so soon?
I’ll just sit here glancing at the moon,
And with every shining star I’ll know,
You’re really not that far.

I’ll always be haunted by that night,
That night when you gave up the fight.
And you’ll always be my number one,
Even though your shirt’s not on.

You’ll always be here in my heart,
A Diamonds’ legend, we’ll never part.
Your memory will be with me forever,
I’ll never forget you, ever.

I always knew your love for us was true,
Our hero in red, white and blue.
I miss you.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

One Dale Roberts.
