Hung Out To Dry 3 - Support from Fellow Fans
As was mentioned on the “001” thread, there must be other Diamonds fans with appropriate financial or legal backgrounds who might be able to help the creditors. Perhaps the creditors might form some kind of support group where they can liase with people with such skills.

Good luck to all of the creditors with their quest for compensation but what assets do the club actually have since KC secured the ground and land which formerly belonged to RDFC ?

Clearly the obvious assets are limited, but there may be monies due which are still to be collected - and it may also be that certain bills were paid in preference to those that should have been paid.coltrane wrote:Good luck to all of the creditors with their quest for compensation but what assets do the club actually have since KC secured the ground and land which formerly belonged to RDFC ?
The purpose of this request was also to get help for those who are owed money in other ways - e.g. can they offset losses against tax - including Capital Gains Tax, can ex-employees claim redundancy money from the government, how can those who were employed find out whether their PAYE / NI payments were made etc.

It all sounds very complex if only the club had folded under KC then all the debtors would have been covered due to the assets of ground and land, strange how things work out isn't it?

Not necessarily since the ground was owned by a separate company, namely Colnagen.coltrane wrote:It all sounds very complex if only the club had folded under KC then all the debtors would have been covered due to the assets of ground and land, strange how things work out isn't it?
