Inspiring stuff
Thinking about all the smaller clubs who won their games in the FA Cup this weekend got me excited about the prospect of watching AFC R & D as a Saturday team for next season. I also saw this article on Enfield Town FC (fond memories of giving Al James Hannigan a lift to the game there), who have spent 10 years playing at another ground but who have now moved "home".

Unfortunately we won't be allowed in the cup next season, you have to play at least a year in the F.A. Vase first.

You are correct Sid, in fact I think we have a to wait a year to play in the vase too, however I think seeing these clubs on their way back after all going through what we have been through is great inspiration.

Re: Inspiring stuff
So we're not going to be in the FA Cup or the Vase next year? :(
What a ridiculous rule by the way.

Not from what I've read. It is through playing in the Vase next season that will qualify us for the FA Cup the following year.bozzer wrote:You are correct Sid, in fact I think we have a to wait a year to play in the vase too, however I think seeing these clubs on their way back after all going through what we have been through is great inspiration.
We should qualify for the Vase next year if we apply on time.
