I shouldn't imagine that there will be a formal Conference hearing. All the Conference Board will require is written confirmation that all football creditors have been paid in full by close of play tonight. If KTFC can't demonstrate this then a 3 point deduction should be imposed as a matter of course.

The ET is reporting that George Rolls has a "agreed" a "payment deal" in which players have agreed for all outstanding debts to be paid by June 1.
I can't believe that they would actually wait that long and continue to work without being paid. Obviously no one really knows their situations but how long can you last without being paid?! IIRC they weren't paid their January wages were they?

Radio Northampton last night interviewed somebody from KTFC and he said players are owed December January and part of February wages, They have apparently been paid the last couple of weeks, weekly. He also said that there was very little chance of meeting the conference demands today.

I think the Diamonds players last season allowed things to go on too long. Surely players must realise that any promise with a deadline beyond the end of the season is totally hollow, and they will have lost any bargaining power they have by that stage - i.e. refusing to play.

You've also got to ask where the revenue is predicted to come from during May - and why it would be available then but not now - one envisages a sob story at the end of the season when either the take-up on Season Ticket renewals has been "less than we expected" or some Beasant-style Share scheme or sponsorship scheme hasn't had many takers - meaning the players can't be paid after all.

With serious money likely to be needed to satisfy a Conference Bond like Wrexham had, as well as the disciplinary fine, plus the summer bills / safety certification work etc, any revenues generated prior to next season are likely to be spoken for 10 times over.

Should imagine that the recent payments to players have been made by KTFC Trust from monies received from recent fundraising activities. The lion share of outstanding historical players wages will be the responsibility of K*ttering Town Management Limited which is the holding company of the football club and is the responsibility of Ladak.

It looks like Rolls has been forced to sell up at Weymouth following a threat of legal action down there, so the anticipated four-way deal for the Poppies looks like it is nearing its conclusion.

It does not give much confidence that the proposed new Owner cannot afford to pay the players in full until June.

@GeoffDoyle1 "Most worrying for @KetteringTownFC fans. Source at Conf told me, was losing 3 points their biggest worry? #ktfc. updates on @BBCNorthampton"

The thing that strikes me as surprising is that the Conference actually had someone available to comment. I thought they just made it up as they went along!

Well, I suppose it takes a while for the money to go from Essex to Japan, be converted from £'s into Yen, then to be wired to Panama and be converted from Yen into US Dollars, and then come back to the UK and be converted again into £'s ;) Maybe they should just pay the players in Yen and be done with it - with what they're owed and with 128 Yen to the £1, this time next week they could be Millionaires ;)

So, that'll put them down to 23rd in the table having played a game more that all those above them, not looking good (for them) is it?

As a football fan I do feel sorry for their decent fans (they do have some I've observed recently). Unless someone comes in with big money I fear their hoping for a lost dream and by the time they wake up and realise it they could be faced with just a youth team to watch next season.
