Remembering this gives us another opportunity to wax lyrical about that side:

f*** me that was an awesome side, I don't think I'll ever love a team as much as I loved that 2009-2011 team, even at the end it just had something about it. We basically saw Aaron O'Connor at his peak and even though he didn't get 20 goals a season, he was just awesome, never gave up. :D I will never get tired of watching that 3rd goal for as long as I live.

Today I will have a smile on my face, just remembering that night. :D

I think our best fu of the night was winding monkey boy, the veins on his neck were literally standing out in frustration and aggression. A great night ot remember in many ways

Just the first goal is enough to make you smile wider than it should be possible.

Not just because we were ahead against the scum, but because if you look, you see the whole team bunches together to celebrate, showing how brilliantly JE brought together a team.

My dream, is that one day, when we get to where AFCRD belongs, JE has some role at the club, even if it is assistant to Starms.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

This. I can't be the only one that dreams of JE coming back. Someday it has to happen, he has unfinished business here. :D

Other things to note:

The 2nd goal - the cutback to Byrne really was lovely and I like the celebration on that one as well. Also I still wonder to this day WTF those monkeyboys were trying to do, just clawing out from behind that fence. I vividly remember watching them do the same thing in our direction as well, despite there being loads of empty space and a big metal fence between the sets of fans.
