I was wondering that as well. If so, the playing surface at the D & D is going to take a hammering.luckyfour wrote:
Where are the AFC / WTFC U18's playing their games this season, they can't all be at the Dog & Duck surely?.

I understand that Peterboro North Star are droping out to another league and i believe that Whitworths had an under 18 team last season
Re: Desperate measures.....
Stagman is absolutely correct - PNS youth sections is now being run by Dominic Genovese, who is not a fan of the NSYL, and has switched them to the Eastern Counties League.STAGMAN wrote:I understand that Peterboro North Star are droping out to another league and i believe that Whitworths had an under 18 team last season
I don`t think we`ll re-draw the KO Cup - just have KFC taking PNS`s place in the competition.
As far as the pitch goes, remember Wellingborough had a reserve side last season playing far more games than we do in the NSYL, so effectively, although there are now 3 teams on the pitch, there will only be a handful of extra games on it compared to last season - and the Doughboys have only had one season without an u18 team of their own!!
Re: Desperate measures.....
Yep just been searching around, Whitworths were there but in the East division last season.

Yes. I was told that as well. Should think the Ploppies faithful would be breaking their necks to find out what it was. ;)stamboy wrote:A little birdie told me we bought some stuff off them.......

   Will Horace be sending another rallying cry along the lines of "Please don't let this event prove the ex R&D fans that they were right, nobody come to events at Nene Park, it's a waste of time and effort. Let's prove we are Poppies fans and we care more about our club.""Trek wrote:Apathy rules.finedon_dave wrote:Out of all the events planned this one was the event I was really looking forward to.
