I would suggest anyone going to Wootton this saturday, should take an umbrella with them, as the stand only holds about 50 people and there isn't any other cover

*thinks*

me and maybe 1.......i think ive /weve done it........my dad ,who was an iboro diamonds stalwart just couldnt/wouldnt support rushden and diamonds ,even when i did manage to get him to nene park,he would be a little negative(to say the least)towards us :o :o. after persuading him to watch a couple of freindlies i think hes turning ;) . during a conversation today he asked if i was going tomorrow? ,i said yes ,why are you coming? he said maybe he would :D :D then he added if i dont ill definatly go to the games at the dog and duck........mission complete ;) ;)

Funny you say this Dunc, I was chatting to a bloke at work earlier (turns out theres 5/6 diamonds fans at my new job, all of which I've had a word with ;)) who supported R&DFC, and my dad strolled over, who was a massive Irthlingborough diamonds follower and like your dad, would never step in nene park after the merger, other than when I played there once. And i was absolutely gobsmacked when he chirped up with "Well, now they're not playing down there I dont see why I cant take in a few games." I couldn't believe it. He always use to say to me, "I can and never will stand side by side with those herberts from down the road, and listen to the chants of RUSHDEN, RUSHDEN." I'm gunna try get him to the Potton game!

It seems like we can almost use the fact we're still rushden and diamonds to our advantage, when maintaining the old fanbase, but also play the 'new club' card, when trying to attract those, who for whatever reason, did not agree with the idea of R&DFC.
A true outlaw finds the balance between the passion in his heart and the reason in his mind. The outcome is the balance of might and right.
