Oooh I'm looking forward to some terracing. With everyone packed in together I can foresee an Oxford-esque atmosphere.

Wiki lists Hayden Road as having a capacity of 750 -

err is that right? Going to be crammed in like sardines if true! I personally know a few who are making this their first away game of the season (including myself!).

"We'll fill your ground for you, we'll fill your ground for you!"
I'm sure everyone can squeeze up. Short people to the front! R&H will make a nice amount from this game! If the weather's nice it will be partytastic.

Absolutely! I'm not sure if I'll be back on Friday or Saturday morning though, so I'll be in contact at some point to find out the first port of call.
We need to remember to sing only Diamonds related songs BTW, it's going to be a bit confusing.

As you can see I'd already corrected myself, your reference to a old shed (singular) being replaced by about 10 seats was barely accurate enough to know what you were referring to in the photo ;)ron manager wrote:Thats not a different ground, that's the old sheds that I referred to, that used to be there, its just an old photo.Chas wrote:Unfortunately those pics are a little deceiving, especially as one of them, (pic 3 showing two stands) is on old pic and not how it is now. As others have said the main stand (1st pic) is derelict (apart from the changing rooms underneath it). There is one stand with limited seating (probably around 50 as others have suggested) that you can see in pic 4 & 5.
There is tiered 'terracing' around various parts of the ground (to the left of the main stand as in pic 1) then to the right of the stand after an outside seating area, which then runs around the back of one goal and partly up the other side I think to the seated stand. The rest of the far side is open standing area, alhouh there's not much room on the far side, but plenty of room behind the other goal, but with no tiered terracing you won't see much unless you're near the front.
Still, If a thousand do turn up, the ground will look very full
I'd suggest people get there early, if we're going to get it to capacity they may have to close the gates to new arrivals at some point.

Well looking at the photos of the ground, I would "guess", it could hold around 1500, if you don't include the stand, so I think it will be tight. It would be a disaster if they have to close the turnstiles though. I may get there early now, I dont want to drive all that way and have to trying and blag it with one of the houses at the end of the ground to come in and watch from their back bedroom
