On the downside we'll probably have to deal with the manager of the month award

I loved the whole night. There is nothing like winning those massive away games when you can't bear the thought of losing and just so want your team to come through. Big match nerves returned big time.

I loved the players reaction at the end to acknowledge the fans, and not really wanting to leave us. And seeing the happy faces leaving the ground, smiles and fist pumps for our Radio Diamonds crew in the corner....an all round memorable night.

I'd definitely say it was the most important win I've been at. Cobblers and @ K*ttering were great wins but there wasn't as much riding on those matches. This could be the game we look back on and say 'that's where the title was won' and it certainly felt like that. You can just hear the eruption when we score, I don't think I've heard it that loud before; even against Olney (both times).

I think it was important, but it only puts us back in the hunt, even if we win all our other matches (and thats a big ask) Sileby would still have to slip up somewhere else.

Couldnt agree more Daz. They was right infront of me and seeing that was so heart-warming and topped off what a fantastic night it was :D

Quincy was superb, I've been saying it all season when others have disagreed with me but hes a very, very good goalkeeper for this level.

Seeing the players and management's reaction at the final minute was just awesum!

I must admit I wasnt confident going into the game, and I thought we'd loose by 2 or 3.. so that really is rubbish in that Sileby match report. The beer was overpriced and warm but who cares!

Starms is spot on though, it is only another three points and if we dont leave with maximum points on Saturday, Tuesday night becomes almost worthless.

Its gunna be an exciting run-in now.. Bring it on!

:D I think Glenis appreciated the kiss on the cheek more than Sean McBride did!

True, Oadby on the 30th could be the big one, assuming they'll win their 3 games in hand over us, they'd go 2 points above us, so a win against them may be essential for promotion as Sileby don't seem to slip up against anyone, other than us of course. Really hoping we can draw a big crowd for that one and its the easter weekend as well, would be nice to have an 1000+ home crowd this season and we haven't broken 600 since October.

Well Eynesbury beat Sileby on their own patch and Sileby have yet to play at Eynesbury. ;)

Would be great to great some external coverage in the media to help boost attendances - I see the Herald and Post hasn't carried a Diamonds story for weeks! And the ET isn't much better, still no match report or even mention of the Sileby result on their website yet!

There was an short article on the Sileby match including a few quotes from Starms in the printed copy of today's Northants Telegraph. They also sent a reporter to the Onley match last week. He said it was his first visit to the Dog n' Duck when he asked me where he could park.
