Sounds like a cracking game, think that might be Bugbrooke out of it now then. Hopefully they're knackered for Saturday! Sileby looking vulnerable still!

It was a good game - Bugbrooke came out of the traps really quickly, and should have scored before their early goal. They sat back and let Sileby back into it, and the equaliser was inevitable. They then did the same after getting in front again.
A dozen or so there from Diamonds, plus 3 or 4 from Wellingborough, plus GroundHopper, so Sileby are still struggling to attract much local attention.

It was noticeable that Sileby were much less "up for it" than they were against us. Their bench was very quiet in the first half, and the players only really seemed to get animated after they took the lead.
I can see Bugbrooke being a real threat on Saturday if we let them dominate the game early on - they aren't an especially big side, but are nippy and break very quickly.

I agree Tony, they're nippy and "busy" but I commented that they would fade as the game progressed, and fade they did. Sileby did what they had to do second half. On Saturday we'll have to be on our game to combat the inevitable first half enthusiasm and energy, but I would like to think we'd have enough in the tank to deal with them.

What was the attendance, does anyone know? Must be quite underwhelming for all the Sileby mercenaries to be four points clear at the top and only getting about 40-50. I can just imagine them winning the league there and it being completely silent apart from the players cheering!
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

The most bizarre thing was nobody cheered from the crowd when Sileby scored!Sara Pascoe wrote:What was the attendance, does anyone know? I would assume that someone in the management team was there, keeping an eye bugbrooke?
