I think that may be a tad optomistic.

We will probably get a set back or two along the way.
We have a lot of hard games in a short space of time and our small squad could become quite stretched if we pick up a few injuries.

We have the momentum at the moment, which we need to maintain.

Me neither, as the pressure is applied (to all teams) there will be unexpected results that will surprise us all - just look at Tuesday evening

Its an old football cliche, but I'll take just one game at a time from now on.

I wasn't THAT impressed by Oxford, of the chasing pack the only side to really impress me this year was AFC Dons to be honest. We're in the mixer, thats all that really matters and I'm VERY pleased to be entering into the final phase of the season with something to get nervous and excited about at the right end of the table for a change.

Irrespective of where we end up, its been a bloody good season !!

Tbh, I'm with Pigman, we should take every game as it comes and not worry about future games. Of course, we can look after every game to see where we've ended up.

We should also take into account what other teams are like in terms of form and what those who watch them are saying. A number of Wimbledon fans on one of the football boards think they won't make the playoffs because they're too inconsistant. The same with Mansfield and (not surprisingly) York fans.

As for our recent form, we're not scoring the goals, true, BUT we're getting the points. This could be our dip, but thanks to our defense, it hasn't hit us result wise, like it has other teams. As we've seen this season, our strikers have had patches of scoring. They are due one soon, and we could very well see the goals return against Gateshead.

Keep the faith, go into every game behind the lads and believing in them. They are capable of beating Oxford when they come and beating Altrincham away, if they play with the right attitude and approach and have us the fans believing in them. They haven't let us down this far!

I'm going finish this post by borrowing Justin's words from last year's fans forum where a couple of fans suggested that we should worry about relegation that year;
