I thought we were very lucky to get the win. Why we had a bench with Alfie, Elliot, Aaron, and Ben keeping it warm when the midfield were out of shape and did nothing in the second half. Starms needs to keep everyone sharp and with some consistency of rotation. They could have nicked a point in the last 15 minutes and the management did nothing to try and change it.
We would have got stuffed if we played a team who were more composed in the box.
a big sigh of relief came on the final whistle, which was at 10 past 5 ?

Great to be top and almost have it in our own hands! Only worry is if we are left reliant on a shitworths result, it's pretty obvious they'll make no effort to win, wouldn't want to lose the annual payday would they!

Slightly confused regarding injury time as we were still playing at Huddersfield/Peterborough when I read on the AFC R&D Twitter that you'd had full-time!

Come on Oadby for Tuesday, btw! A nice game that goes all through extra-time to penalties, with a few meaty challenges from St. Ives! :D

That's right.
Not quite correct. We are top but Sileby have only dropped to 3rd place.

Yeah. Didn't feel there was particularly a great deal of added time bearing bearing in mind the length of time the physios were on the pitch attending to their goalie and Hopey, add in the substitutions and it seemed about right.

Exactly my worries, nothing would surprise me in this league anymore and a Sileby win there would be doing both teams a favour, so they'll probably agree on that before the game, which would just sum up this league, we'll need Sileby to drop points again somewhere, like us they've got Potton and Spencer who won't be easy for them and they'll be rattled a bit from 2 defeats in a week, but I still fear its unlikely they'll drop much more.

You don't go through the season with that much luck and we've already had loads of dodgy, tense one-goal wins; Harrowby, R+H, Bourne, Potton, Rothwell and now today. At some point there will be a comeback because we just don't see games through comfortably and take our chances.
Like Sileby at home you mean?! ;)
