The forecast for today has changed and is no way near as bad as feared. With the only rain forecast between 11-12 and temperatures between 8-9 degrees until tonight we may have a game tomorrow afterall.
I'd almost resigned myself to the fact that this would be off.

Probably going to need a lot of work done though after yesterday.

The pitch didn't look very good on the photo that the Duke posted on twitter an hour or so ago. :? It's going to need this stiff breeze to carry on until tomorrow morning for any hope that it will dry out sufficiently for the game to be given the go ahead.

Kempston have had a really good run recently, not unlike the improvement that Boston Town had seen before we faced them.
I guess we may have a few knocks after yesterday's game - both Parky and Merrill having received attention during the game. After Matt Gearing had his knock against Boston he wasn't risked yesterday, but if he's fit it might be a chance to give Greg Ling a rest given the number of games he's played recently after so little football since last season.
I thought Joe Henderson looked really impressive when he came on, so he might be given a start - perhaps to give one of the full-backs a well-deserved break. Similarly there's a chance to change things in midfield - even if Bunting isn't get ready for a return, and perhaps resting Brad might avoid him picking up a fifth yellow before the 31st Dec deadline.

Does anyone know what the chances are of tomorrow's game going ahead? Is there a pitch inspection planned?

How are things looking regarding the pitch. I'll be there at just after 1 do I need to bring my wellies & a fork??

there are people down there now, there won't be a need for any pitch inspection but they could do with a couple more bods to help with the preparation so please bring your wellies.
If a couple of people can spare an hour this morning it would be very helpful

Deeping v. Holbeach game is off so we could go second in the table if we win or draw and match or better Cogenhoe's result who are at home against Boston Town.
