Third place confirmed as worst case scenario as Deeping lost today, so it's all down to what we can do against S&L and Huntingdon can do against Sileby. Huntingdon won 0-9 against S&L I believe, Sileby surprisingly beat Cogenhoe !! Can't see them beating Huntingdon personally, but a draw??? We live in hope eh?

Edit: ignore that lot lol just re looked at the table and was getting carried away - 3rd place finish confirmed

Certainly would have been lovely to have made it 2 runners-up spots in our first 2 seasons, but no matter, 3rd is still very respectable for our first year in a league that is as ever pretty strong at the top, will Huntingdon manage to keep this squad together next season, or will we see another club bankrolled to the title? Whatever is going to happen, I cannot wait for the 9th or 16th August :D

Oh and having seen the Huntingdon score, next Saturday as well, could we see double figures ;)

Easy victory, should have been out of site by halftime. Good second half performance but had to give the opponents a customary goal with the last action of the match.

I'll be disappointed if we can't get 10 against S & L this Saturday.

Played extremely well I thought although Wellingborough have clearly suffered since their management team left for Bedford.

Joseph and Lorraine seemed to be building an understanding and both were very good - Joseph does need to watch the line though, needlessly offside on a few occasions but he's very raw. Henderson would have been my MOM he was absolutely faultless and has been for a while now.

It should be a goalfest next week against S&L, it'll be interesting to see how bad they actually are.

I read somewhere they've been put on 'alert' regarding a sidewards switch to the Eastern Counties League, with possibly Godmanchester coming the other way. Godmanchester are currently 5th in that league having won 23 of their 35 matches.
