Might suit an academy set up as part of a bigger plan to use the site. Of course nothing major can be developed until the claw back clause expires.

You are correct and ideally we need everything at one location. I was really making the point that the provision of a bit of grass approximately 120 yards x 80 yards would not be much use, on it's own, to any registered football club irrespective of the level that they play at.

And it is a very valid point, which needs making at every opportunity

I see that the proposal document has been removed from ENC's planning portal, only the 'Rushton, Northants' covering letter remains!

I wonder why?

The following in the best line, how can you complement a turd?
In addition, a family leisure and entertainment zone could be created together with a retail zone, with the hope of complementing the town centre and other proposed developments in the area.

Not this one?
Elements of the heritage of Rushden & Diamonds FC will be conserved in a new setting, it has also been proposed.
Eurgh, that's Cousins taking the piss. The new setting's currently in Wellingborough.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.
