Former Players
Re: Former Players
Ainsley McDonald the Clubs 1st senior captain is returning to the D&D, don't panic anyone he's signed for the Doughnuts, previous Clubs listed are Diamonds, Corby & Sileby, Earls Barton must be mortified not to be included in the list.

Re: Former Players
Gillingham have announced a press conference at 1:30 and Newport are having one at roughly the same time. Sounds like he's off to the Gills.Pigman wrote:Not a player, but I see Gillingham are in the hunt for Justin Edinburgh :

It's obviously much closer to home for him but I don't really see the appeal of the Gillingham job. A yo-yo club between League Two and One without the support or stadium to realistically become a regular Championship side, I'm not sure how much he can improve them.

Oi BartonRaz don't you go criticizing Lady Sussex Diamonds home town team.!
Actually I think it is a good move for Justin. Gillingham have more potential than Newport, although it is many years since they were Championship side. Newport have stagnated in recent times and with Gillingham being closer to Justins Essex home he should be able to give them something he was not able to give Newport..Time.
Good Luck Justin...Come on you Gills

Re: Former Players
Whilst he probably wasn't involved today, Gillingham beat Sheffield Utd 2-0, bit of a surprise !! Now just 5 points off the play off spots, who would bet against him getting them there?? The players obviously wanted to impress their new boss !!
Oh, and Newport lost !!
