I would have Harris in at RB instead of Wilkinson (still not at all convinced by him yet), and Lorraine starting instead of Joseph, who never seems as much of a threat when he starts.

What I wouldn't give to have Joe Merrill back in this side! :(

I don't know how many people noticed but Ashton signed four players earlier in the week and I take it they will probably all be cup tied having previously played for other clubs in the FA Cup this season.
This indicates that their manager may not be totally happy with their existing squad. They certainly are not firing on all cylinders as they were when in they finished in the play off places last season.

A great opportunity for us to progress.

I was disappointed to see the very successful Harris / Quigley partnership in midfield broken up as soon as Bunting was deemed fit to start. I thought Quigley's performances improved significantly alongside Brad, and he looked less likely to get involved in any scrapes. It will also be interesting to see which wide players are available / chosen, as at one point we seemed to have a glut of them, only to see Tommy Berwick's talents wasted out wide last week, with Charlie Butt on the other flank (he deserved his MoM award, but I'm not sure we see him there long term ahead of Spriggs / Herbert / ELJ - with Claudio on the other flank when fit). I did wonder if we had ended up with three strikers who seemed to have earned a starting place after the Deeping game, and rather shoe-horned them in.

Wilkinson has been very good at right back since coming into the team, a definite starter for me. Bunts in the middle, Tom or Scott up front with tommy although not sure which one. ELJ on the right if fit.

Hopefully it's not misplaced confidence, but I feel really positive about tomorrow - maybe it's getting that monkey off our backs last week, but I think if we play our own game and don't worry about the opposition we'll do okay, we have nothing to lose do we? No-one will expect us to win so let's set out an attacking lineup and go for it !!

I think if we try to second guess them and mess about to counter their threats then we'll lose our way - take the game to them, attack is the best form of defense !!

Keeping everything crossed here!!

Work in the morning then beer o'clock before ko !! :)

Wilkinson hasn't put a foot wrong at right back, but looked average last week at centre half. Not sure why Gordon didn't start last week but that's gone now. Hoping that Hoban is fit to return for this one but I would have thought he'd be on the bench first. Herbert or ELJ to start wide right

Noticed that there is no free entrance for U8's tomorrow, maybe it's because it's an fa competition, but that didn't comply last week. Not sure if anybody can shed any light on this?

The rules on prices are:

"Qualifying Competition
Immediately after the draw is known, the two Clubs concerned must mutually agree the prices of admission subject to the following conditions.
Except where mutually agreed otherwise the minimum admission (except to children and senior citizens) to matches shall be:
 In the Extra-Preliminary, Preliminary and First Round Qualifying: £3.00
 In the Second and Third Rounds Qualifying: £5.00
 In the Fourth Round Qualifying: £6.00
A higher admission charge may be mutually agreed between the Clubs concerned.
The away Club’s spectators can only be charged more than the home Club’s spectators if agreed by both Clubs.
The price of admission for children and senior citizens must be mutually agreed between the Clubs concerned."

Both clubs need to agree entrance fees, so I presume this is something that has been "agreed" by both clubs.

Shame as it could affect the attendance!
