Only 3 points and 6 goals in last 11 games. Their only win being against Beaconsfield.

Game On after 6.30pm pitch inspection. I shall be cheering on from sunny Newcastle where they've had no rain today!

4-1 Half time - Berwick, Liversedge (2) and and own goal I believe. Two injuries though - Hall and Bunting.

Finished 7-1. I think we needed this result, hopefully it gives us more confidence in front of goal which we have been lacking recently. Hopefully the injuries to Hall and Bunts aren't too bad.

Lewis Leslie was introduced after 20 minutes and played on the right. Gave him an opportunity to try and fit into the team as it looks like he's going to be needed. Also a debut for Appleton who is also likely to start the next three. Was the perfect chance to get a few goals tonight after a poor start, where everybody seemed to switch off. Really should have been double figure's though as we also hit the woodwork three times. Not sure the opposition really fancied it though as they only had one sub. Good to get back to winning ways anyhow

Very dominant performance and a fantastic response by the lads to conceding early. Leighton struggled in particular to cope with Tom Lorraine bursting forward from midfield after he came off the bench. Thought Berwick was unlucky not to get more than one.

Do you think we'll see more of Lorraine starting a bit further back? He hasn't looked good as a lone striker recently.paulg wrote:Very dominant performance and a fantastic response by the lads to conceding early. Sedge will take the headlines for bagging four but I thought Tommy Berwick was absolutely outstanding tonight. Ran his socks off, hit the woodwork twice and set up a few as well.
