You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Re: Player of the Season
Didn't vote tonight, I spent a lot of time thinking about it throughout the game though, it'll be a really, really tough decision. Stuart or Downer from defence, Byrne, Terry or Tommo from midfield and O'Connor or Farrell from attack. Hmmm...can't we just give numerous awards? ;)
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

It was between Byrne and Tomlin for me, but I went for Tommo in the end. Byrne has been more consistent throughout the season, but Tommo has changed so many games with moments of brilliance and I really don't think we'd be in the position we are without him. 15 goals and 13 assists (according to the OWS, although I thought he had more assists than that) says it all.

Re: Player of the Season
Tommo's had a fantastic season, but I voted for Mr. Consistency - Jamie Stuart. I think he's held everyone together in this team particularly early on in this season when we struggled to really get going. Last night he was all over the other players trying to get them to raise their games, and I love to see that in a captain.

Byrne, Tomlin, or Stuart for me. But i'd go with Stuart. If we didn't have him this season we would be mid-table.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

You may be right, but he won't get my vote as i think he got off to a bad start, but second half of the season he's been immense. Tommo will get my vote, his goals and assist's from midfield have also been a reason we're going so well!BartonRaz wrote:Byrne, Tomlin, or Stuart for me. But i'd go with Stuart. I would also argue P*** T**** as a contender. His work has usually gone unnoticed, but he always seems to be there to tidy things up and get the second ball and protect the back four. Granted, he missed August, but since September when he signed, he's been almost ever present. For me he's made a big difference as well.
