No it is definitely planned to be open on Saturday, unless we sell out before that.

Overheard Matt in the shop tonight after the game saying that there are about 350 tickets left. Dont think theres any need to panic if you havn't got yours yet for Monday.

Oxford have only got 500 tickets left to sell, and we have only got 350.

Just went in, and there was this person buying 8 tickets!
Only about 250 left I'd say.

If the Diamonds tickets do sell out as well, it's worth people ensuring they get to the game in good time. In the days we used to sell out away allocations we had a good few people who had one last drink before heading into the ground, only to find their allocated seat had been taken.

This is especially relevant for Oxford, as they've already had an issue when Luton played there (surprise) when some Luton fans were denied entry - there are differing schools of thought about why this happened, but remember that if an area is full the stewards are duty bound not to let any more people in, whether or not they have a ticket ! Marching up to the turnstile and saying "I have a ticket, let me in!" won't do any good.

The car parking will also be an issue - and again there is a precedent with Luton's visit to Oxford, where a large number of Luton fans found their cars had parking tickets when they returned to them.

A neutral's view on that game is here

Hmm, and there will be more there for our trip, I think around 12000, I may park a mile or two away and walk in.

Just reading that about Luton fans and fighting, what a surprise. Although I remember a week before we played Oxford one season (in the league I think), they had been a lot of trouble from Oxford "fans" aswell, and there was a very heavy police presence.

250 remaining then and just tomorrow morning (10am to 1pm) to buy them - we're not going to sell them out are we?

What does the club have to do to tempt people to come and support them???? I know people are skint, but this is the 2nd leg of a finely poised semi-final, we should have sold 1309 tickets easily - a very disappointing showing by the people of Rushden and Irthlingborough to be honest, the locals really couldn't give a shit could they??

I hear people saying we'd take 10k to W IF we get there, 3-4000 tops, probably nearer 2500..........not that it matters, but just a shame that the locals haven't got caught up in the "cup fever" !!
