Well said Pigman, and I was alway very proud of our support, probably the best atmosphere in the debanke for a while.
Nice to see it relatively full too, could hardly move from my spot on the debanke! reminded me of the days we used to regularly get 4-5000.

Saw a lot of fans with very old shirts. Must be the first time that they've been at Nene Park for 4 or 5 years.

Despite not playing very good in the first half I thought the atmosphere at times was brilliant and imo it lifted the players at the start of the 2nd half, draw may have been the fair result but if we have a first half like that again on Monday then we could really be made to pay for it

I think the first half was partly due to getting caught up in the occasion. There were some nerves out there last night. They got through it and got a fair result.
The player should have nothing to fear Monday since the onus is on Oxford in front of their own fans. Just relax, play your normal game and believe in yourselves, as we believe in you.

very good atmosphere last night well done all those who dont normally sing who i heard really going for it ;)
one slight complaint though ......
the 'your not number' 1 song.
its not a bad song when your 3-0 up and i all for taking the piss out of the opp keeper but in games like last night i felt we really needed to get behind our team straight from the off in the 2nd half.
instead we spend the first 10 mins singing a load of numbers at their keeper.
maybe keep the song but do it a bit later into the half when its all gone a bit quieter.

Agreed about the You're Not No.1 chant, it's started to annoy me for the reason you talked about. I notice some different singers started more team orientated chants during it which broke it up (a good thing). I think maybe it's time to stop it and just get behind the team. Edinburgh's Barmy Army sounds so much better.

I had a nightmare about the scenario of a penalty shootout last night as well.
I had a dream last night, not really sure how it went, but i was definately not pleased with the result :(
Was it to do with football ? ;)
  Yes it was actually
