I don't know Dale on a personal level, but from what I've heard and what I can guess (this is backed up by comments from his Dad in the article) it appeared that he was planning to spend his life with this woman and they had a long history. For PT to do what he has done to his teammate (let alone the way this woman has treated him), and to a top man like Dale, words can't even express it.

John Terry - well documented scumbag
P*** T**** - now appears to be a scumbag
Ted Terry - coke dealing scumbag
Sue Terry - shoplifting cow

Sue Poole (the mother-in-law) - shoplifting cow

What a bunch, and best of all, they've all got more money than most of us and most nurses/doctors/policemen etc will ever see.

Joke

I actually knew about this story a few days ago. And knew about someone who was in contact with The Sun about it (someone completely unrelated to the club thank god). Looks like someone else got there first.

It is true, well, at least i'm 99% certain.

P*** T****, as good as you have been, just f*** off.

Can't believe what I've just read, absolutely ridiculous, as much as he's been a good player, he's got to go for this, tensions like this would really dent the team spirit, so what a complete moron, feel bad for Dale as well, he's a nice bloke and yeah as said before, it may make him move on, especially if PT stays (which I seriously doubt he will). Never thought I'd see the day when one of our players was involved in a scandal like this making a national paper!

Team Roberts!

It's currently you and Stuart Wardley. Although at least Wardley's only in there because he was shit.

What the f***? Wardley wasn't shit at all.

He had great potential at this club until that horrific injury. What a strange player to choose to hate. :?

And back on topic - I read the article thinking it was a joke.

It wasn't until I read this thread that I realised it is/ might be true. :?

This is gutting. Two players I really wanted in the squad for next season.

Got to add another midfielder to this list - W**dhouse. I don't think we should sign midfielders anymore ;)

Wardley played well in the months leading up to the horrific injury at Carlisle - however for a long period of time before that he was absolutely appauling, and so I can understand why someone wouldn't like him too much. As for Woodhouse, absolutely loathsome figure!

Ignore that my friends being a knob and writing as me, cause he thinks he knows something about this...

Another mate of mine close to DR informed me he's leaving soon apparently, hope this is false..He's a Great keeper! we need him here.

This cannot be real life surely? I can't get my head around why this has happened, after what John Terry did how could something like this cross his brother's mind? I'm genuinely baffled at how this has happened but Terry's got to go and he was my favourite player last season. What an absolute tool.
