As Rob, says, my biggest concern will be trying to get new fans on boards. Thanks to the Conference Board, they have single handedly murdered any pull we have of getting new fans if we go on a good run, short of getting promoted next season.

Get Trust membership. The club have at least given fans a way to get around what the Conference board have done. Only £15 and if you go to enough games, it'll be worth it.
EDIT: Can we edit the title so it's clear that this is a result of the Conference forcing us to do this not the club, since some people may see the headline and think it is the club and get the wrong impression.

Disgraceful, and to be honest cant stick up for the club here either, why not just drop prices across the board, granted they need the cash, but this just going to drop attendance well below 1k.
17 quid to watch non-league footy, no thanks, can find many a better thing to do with the cash than that, we're are nearly 60% deary than them up the road, on par with MK dons who are two divisions higher, who do you think the floating fans are going to watch.
Bad, bad move by the club, just priced out family's and generally alot of supporters. Very angry with this and very disappointed in them. Hay hoo, least I will be able to concentrate on doing more value for money things at the weekend now.

Hmm subject changed, you cant say that, the league do NOT enforce entry fees, its the clubs, might be worth checking the legalities of the subject content!!!!

Don't forget that Trust Membership also benefits the club in other ways - most notably with the support of the Youth System.

Mad dog please explain why a £4 increase for over 60 yet only £2 for adults. Also a £1 increase even as a trust member.

ill have to join the trust now. dunno why i never have before really
14 pounds is gonna be hard enough anyway ill struggle to get to most games at 17
think ill be in strikers a lot less this season now
i thought the conference would try and ENCORAGE fans to go and see their local non league sides!!
this has been the way for years and theres no problem with it so why change the rules?
maybe the club could lower its prices though ... the cash still goes to them at the end of the day!?!
i know people who would come down to the odd game as a spare of the momment thing 13 quid is a few bits of spare change over a tenner and its reasonable price
now your looking at 20 quid with a bit of change back......not even enough for a diamond burger!
really think this could hit attendances hard

Can't argue with those facts unfortunately. If we don't start out well our attendances are going to be horrible around Christmas.

As has been said, it's due to the Conference board issuing a directive. We knew prices would probably go up anyway, but without this directive, it would have probably have been only a pound. That's the explanation, I'm looking on this from the outside like you, so ask the club if you're not happy with my answer.
All I'm saying is that the way to get around this to buy supporter's trust membership and it's up to you if you take advantage of it. Or alternatively if you can, get a season ticket.
Frankly I'm not happy that this has happened and the Conference board is the main reason it seems for causing it.

I'd like to see the evidence that the Conference are enforcing this and the bit which says "but if you're in a Supporters Trust or membership scheme" then you're exempt.
