It would have been nice, yes but there is no way on this earth that we would have that if the tables were turned!!

There's no way on earth that ANY team would do that, to be fair to them it wasn't exactly their fault was it, the referee is the only cheat here and I hope someone at the FA sees the replay.

It wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference if they did. They would just do what they always do and back the ref 100%, even though the laws of the game show him to be wrong.

Is it any wonder that there is so little respect for officials?

^^Indeed. We wouldn't have this specimen to look forward to at some point this season if they actually came down on the refs:

Referee for Saturday will be Mr Russell Fletcher of Derbyshire. A relatively experienced referee, this will be Russ's fifth season as a Conference-level referee. Last season he gave out 31 yellow and two red cards in nine games – a rather harsh 3.5 yellows per game with a red every four games or so.

We've not seen Russ in action before, not even this season – so you know, fingers crossed. It can't rain shit referees all the time.

Russell is one of the famous Fletcher Sextuplets who made their name in the early eighties as a toddler juggling act on Central TV's New Faces talent show.In summary, then: talented
