It wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference if they did. Referee for Saturday will be Mr Russell Fletcher of Derbyshire. A relatively experienced referee, this will be Russ's fifth season as a Conference-level referee. Last season he gave out 31 yellow and two red cards in nine games – a rather harsh 3.5 yellows per game with a red every four games or so.
We've not seen Russ in action before, not even this season – so you know, fingers crossed. It can't rain shit referees all the time.
