There are two hopes of the game being played on Boxing day...bob and no. ;)

When i went to the ground on sat morning to see dales tributes the pitch had a light covering of snow and was frozen solid,the frost covers were not on as i suppose they can only be on for so long for the issue of light getting to the grass.
With it being frozen already and we have had no thaw,frost covers are no use at the moment so i would say the game is very doubtful atm.

Getting worse for Christmas night, -10 forecasted now, the chances of it going ahead are pretty much 0 :(
