Not sure if rubbish means he had a couple of bad games but still showed enough to suggest that he might do very well with a long run in the side. Scored 2 goals for us and whilst pre season is not the time to judge he was our best player for most of those games. His problems were 19 year old kid with no experience and never given a decent run in the side as Tommo played so well.

I would see it as an opportunity to develop him and make some dosh along the way.

Tell me why? He was rubbish when here on loan and looked scared to death.
I dont think he was given a massive chance, as i think Tommo was and is far better in this position. However, i do feel that given a few games he could re find the form he found in pre-season. Although you cannot go on everything you see here, i think the lad showed that he had the pace and the creativity to make something of himself. There must also be a reason why he was so highly rated at Forrest when he first joined, Reserves captain i believe.

If Tomlin goes then we could probably do a lot worse. The lad has potential, and JE is good at getting potential out of players it seems, but what is the point in nurturing someone elses player when it would keep one of yours out the side?

Maybe a good one to bring in if we can get him cheap and get him till the end of next season to give him a chance. I wouldn't be unhappy at hearing of him signing for us, nor would I be delighted.
