I very nearly went to that game but decided instead to work on the Football Manager updates that I should have submitted yesterday! :oops:

Was Morgan Phillips not playing as well? I know he was on loan there early in the season.

I saw Hitchin Town maintain their unbeaten start to the season by beating Daventry Town 2-0. They obviously have different standards regarding the state of pitches at Zamaretto level, as it was a total mudbath down one flank.

Not really. Given Hitchin had scored 9 in their previous game I was expecting to see some decent strikers - but they were pretty poor, apart from scoring a good second goal. Daventry deserved to be ahead before the two late goals.
