We are aiming to have three different kit sponsors next season; a main front of shirt sponsor, and smaller sponsors on the back of the shirt and shorts. This is the maximum allowed by the Conference.
Seems a bit unrealistic, we couldn't get one sponsor, so do they intend on getting three :?

Plenty of other clubs do at our level. This is an entirely new regime remember. KC was only at the club one day a week, whereas GC and LB are both there 6 days a week.
We definitely won't be doing another raffle!

Lets be honest, I know we're in the Blue Square Premier, but there is no excuse for not being able to get a shirt sponsor. Everybody has a shirt sponsor. Earls Barton United have a shirt sponsor. I can only think that the previous regime either wanted too much money, or didn't try hard enough.
Judging by what those that went were told about people failing to attend meetings with schools, it will probably have been the latter.

Until next season. They are discussing changes for next year but nothing is yet certain.

On a general point I was disappointed with the opening when GC just said something like - 'Welcome and over to you'. Apart from anything else this threw people and questioning took a little time to warm up.
As a new regime and their first opportunity to meet/speak to fans in a forum, I would have hoped they would have introduced themselves and said something of their short and middle term aspirations and vision for the future.
Obviously as the evening progressed this came out but a statement at the beginning would have given us a feel for the new owners and warmed the audience up somewhat.
Saying that I was impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of the owners and management about the future of our club - with a few reservations, let's see what the ground looks like next September for instance.
Great to see the humorous side of JE and his ability to banter with the crowd.

I enjoyed the evening and thought Gary, Liam, Justin and Paul looked comfortable and performed well.
I feel a little more relaxed having heard some of their thoughts and plans and will give them the benefit of the doubt for now and wait to see if they walk the walk - they talked the talk well enough for me tonight. The coming weeks/months will tell.
Love the thought of playing 4-4-3 though Justin, very innovative ;)

Couldn't agree more with Dukes. I was less than impressed with the way the forum was conducted. We weren't even introduced to the people on the table. The horror in the room when liam(?) talked about "Neen" Park was palpable. Honestly, if this is any indication of the professionalism they intend to bring to the marketing of the club, then the outlook is grim.
Also I lost count of the number of times Gary said that things had to be "affordable". I took this as code for "we don't have any money".
I think they seem to have a bit more energy and time to spend on trying to develop the club than KC but time will tell if this is enough.

And if we're getting picky - then GC referring to the North Stand as the 'Nortthern Stand - as you call it' was a little disconcerting. As a Yorkshireman, it was quite comforting to think the stand is full of northerners, but alas GC I'm afraid it is merely a point on the compass..!
