Thats right Stagman, I think the run of games so close together really hits people hard - especially at the moment. I know I'm not spending money as freely as I did because I'm worried about my job security, so am trying to save as much as I can, loads of other people are in the same boat at the moment, football drops down the list of priorities sadly. When you start from a small fan base, any drop is always significant for the club.

When you look at the situation Crawley are in, I think they now play Tue/Sat for the rest of the season - if they have one postponement now, then they will have to play Tue/Thu/Sat for at least one week, that makes a mockery of the competition.

We fell foul of a ridiculous fixture pile up the season we made it to the FA Trophy semi finals - its not a new thing is it?

I certainly think more midweek games could be played up to end of October but the downside is that at that stage of the season we dont know which are the "big" games. With games coming thick and fast now we know which games are crucial and that adds to the excitement. Who would have envisioned home to Kiddy at end of April being a play off place decider?

I certainly dont subscribe to the view that winters are getting worse, but maybe officialdom is getting more cautious.

I believe Luton have 18 more games to fit in ( 16 BSP 2Trophy) and potentially another four.
