It towers over my university now. Gonna be very impressive, far superior to 99% of these new stadiums.

Incidentally, we're currently averaging 1189 at home from our 19 home games - 311 short of what had been mentioned in the past as being our breakeven point. Sobering reading indeed.

Our playing budget this season is around 400k, so taking an average of say £13 per person (£17 less a mix of season tickets, concessions, trust prices) would be around an average of 1200 to cover the playing squad.

With Luton to come of course which will massively boost the average for the season. Kidderminster and Wrexham will also bring a fair amount of away support.

We have seen the last of the -1000 gates this season i feel.

That only leaves us with the stadium running costs, wages for those staff, taxes, service charges and repair bills totalling around £100k a year (wild guess, it's BOUND to be more), so that's what the club needs to generate to make up the difference.

Is that not what the profits from the club shop/burger bars/ strikers/kimberley sweet/50/50 draw tickets et al go towards? I'm not saying that would be anywhere near enough but it would certainly help.

If we can't get 1500 people through the door if we're a successful side (and thats what brings people out ultimately) you have to question our ongoing viability as a football club. Loads of other things can contribute to the pot, but scratching around with about 1k fans is tad sad isn't it?

We lost about 300 off our gates due the price hike on the terrace, now the big question will those come back in the future to get the gates back to 1500 on average.

Our major problem in my eyes is our present image of bumbling along from one major or minor crisis to another, this leads to people or business saying why waste my money on a club that may not be with us in a few months time, would you get on a plane knowing one engine is duff or get on a ship with a rusty hulk for a long sea voyage.

Our club has great facilities and with stable Owners, stable Finance and a stable Managment we can move onwards and maybe regain a Football League Place which would increase our fanbase along the way.
