IIRC by the time any sort of election took place the people who were running the Club were already in place for over 12 months. Two of Diamonds wrote:I don't deny that errors were made by the Trust, but didn't we vote for who we wanted on the Board?

I know the Trust took advice from Supporters Direct and they advised it would be difficult to have any elections in the first 12 or so months so people appeared to have been approached by Helen Thompson and Roger Knight to fill the important roles, prior to the official launch of the Trust in April 2005, so it was always going to be very difficult for anyone else from within this small circle to get involved in any serious way.
They appeared to be making it work so I guess by the time formal elections were held other Trust members were happy to see them remain.
