Not sure about that, the boundary seems to get lower and lower every year, there's Worcester and Gloucester in BSN now.

And I have to say I'm not sure about the north, south, midlander question. When people at uni (who are mostly northern) ask we what I'd consider myself, I'm never too sure of what to say, I usually end up saying midlander cause I wouldn't say we're northern but then again we're hardly that southern either :lol:

I got told at Uni that anything North of the river Trent was Northern and anything to the South Southern (i now regret not listening to the rest of what the lecturer had to say as i probably would have been able to give you all a reason why..)

Were K*trin not in the Blue Square North? and I think Leek Town were in the Beazer Homes Midland with us along with Dover just to confuse the issue, i may be wrong.

Strange thing is, Gloucester City are in the north so try and work that one out!

From living in Bournemouth for a year and living with Uni students from london the following statement was made to myself by one of them when discussing this very Topic ...

" Ur Northern as anything from watford on-ward simply say's on the road signs The North "
