Re: Winding Up Order
Throw in the stopped cheque for a mere £2500 to the printers. It's no wonder that they refused to print the Kiddy match programme. These owners are a disgrace.

It's getting to look like the game is soon to be up for the intrepid pair and someone who actually knows how to run a football club brought in. 3 months without any income coming in to the club with a raft of unpaid bills hanging over us would be hard enough to turn round for someone who actually knows what they are doing, but at the moment the situation appears to be terminal. :(

What would you have done differently? I actually think you've highlighted one of the biggest problems the new owners have had to face, seems they have no pot of money to draw upon so are you surprised? They didn't create this scenario, they merely joined it when KC offloaded it, no doubt it had been sold to them in a different light so I doubt they're the biggest reason for the problems we currently have.coltrane wrote:It's getting to look like the game is soon to be up for the intrepid pair and someone who actually knows how to run a football club brought in. 3 months without any income coming in to the club with a raft of unpaid bills hanging over us would be hard enough to turn round for someone who actually knows what they are doing, but at the moment the situation appears to be terminal. :(

Re: Winding Up Order
Its this sort of thing that makes me sceptical of the positivity they're giving us through the statements and what they're telling the fans, alright they acknowledge we're 'struggling financially' but the fact that they said we were supposedly in good financial condition at the time of the fans forum and then not even being able to pay the players a month later worries me. I mean we know there's unpaid bills for the club and yet they seem to be trying to make us think everything's under control when its seems likely that they're not and I echo coltrane's thoughts of how are we going to make it through the summer?! I do hope we've had a decent number of ST payments but even the £100k from them may not be enough.

I'm sorry Robin, if the Beasants had no money then they shouldn't have got involved. Re: Winding Up Order
Depends how it was "sold" to them. These problems are the "club's" problems, the Beasants merely inherited them so I see no point in blaming them. KC just bankrolled us to a lesser degree than Max, but this club must stand on it's own two feet WHOEVER is the owner. That takes time, and I have no doubt it'll take a lot of balls to make the tough decisions that will need to be made. With some of the posts on this forum, I'm glad it's not me.Trek wrote: I'm sorry Robin, if the Beasants had no money then they shouldn't have got involved. End of.

Re: Winding Up Order
(I posted this on another topic, but meh).
Right, first things first. What the hell is with the mood swings on here? We've very rapidly switched back to headless chicken mode on here. It's been just over 48 hours since I spoke to them and guess what? Nothing has happened to change my mind on what I was told.
We need a bit of patience, more rational thought, less 2 + 2 = 348347, less finger pointing and petty insults, and to calm down. Headless chicken mode helps no one at the moment, including the posters themselves.

Gets a bit of anger and emotion out though doesn't it?! Everyone's tense as f***, course there's going to be mood swings. We should all chip in for a forum punchbag or a stress ball.

Re: Winding Up Order
You can appeal for patience all you like but patience does not pay the creditors.
Fans can be as patient as they want but when the creditors run out of patience it is only money that will help the situation. Even if the 100k came in from season tickets it would not cover two of the major creditors who are pushing for payment and that excludes HMRC.
Without the tax being paid to HMRC we won't be signing any players on a contract basis including the ones that we have had this year if their contracts are up and that's most of them.
Wednesday will be a telling day.
