From what we can gather, Imraan doesn't have a pot to piss in.
Either way, you are very welcome to him and it would actually make my day if he left the club, regardless of where he was going.
AFC Rushden and AFC K*ttering are real possibilities and would it be that much of a bad thing?

If we were in the same league then no it probably wouldn't be, would be one hell of a fight to get out whatever league we'd be put in that's for sure!

You got that just a little wrong..remove 'could be one, important, the 's' off days and swap most for last.

I have no knowledge of what's going on at the club, therefore I was just speculating. Better get working on AFC Rushden then, where would we even play, Hayden Road's hardly suitable.

This is not merging Rushden Town and Irthlingborough Diamonds, both clubs were pretty much midget teams, Rushden had the league position, Irthlingborough had the ground.
Given the last few months at both clubs, there will also be the question if the aim (and this is pure speculation, I'm not pointing the finger, merely making a point) was to run both clubs into the ground to do this. True or false, that will begin to do the rumour mill.
My understanding is that it wasn't a case of merging Rushden & Irthlingborough due to the Rushden Town league position. Max was very concerned that once he'd finished developing Nene Park & it's team that Rushden Town would be wiped off the scene completely, hence he proposed the merger after becoming Chairman of Irthlingborough Diamonds.

Isn't that a bit different to Tony Jones' account in his book Robin? I seem to recall it was that both clubs had approached Max for help and he saw merger as the only viable solution to both, especially given the state of Hayden Rd? I'll have to dig it out later and have a look.

Apparently the ET has announced that Ladak is going "full-time" at the Rockinghorse - so the Poppies fans are wondering if this means he is taking over as manager. That might explain why they gave a 3yr contract to a player at a time when most clubs won't commit to more than a season.

And that's the problem we face in Rushden, there are almost no suitable places to play football. Spencer Park has two pitches and that's it.
Rushden & Higham use Hayden Road to the max with regards to playing I'd imagine and some of their teams have to play at Spencer park if the fixtures fall wrong.

Could build a cracking little stadium in Spencer Park! Plus, it's not too far from my house. Belter!
