There's no point in keeping the club going from a business perspective. The only asset it had was our place in the conference.

Don't give up though, keep fighting.
Thanks but somehow feel it was a "done deal" already, considering we're been kept totally in the dark what do we have left to fight for? Administration is best we can hope for, maybe appeal to the FA (not worth the paper), re-start at lower level, only the owners have the answers now.

I can see an instance where JE is the new KTFC manager and they are playing from Nene Park

Not good for you guys, glad the Besants didnt get their hands on my club (weymouth). Maybe now the club has lost its conf status it would be cheaper to purchase now which could mean more interest?

It is a great shame for the area. A loss of what should be a great asset. If only the owners had come out sooner - a week say after taking over - to say thay actually had no money or backing then perhaps this would not be happening now. They can't leave the ground empty as no income for KC, a reformed R & D could not sustain one suspects which would leave the possibility of our near neighbours moving in and hoping to keep some of there supporters and taking some of the Diamonds fan base??

So what now? Use the money we've raised to make a Phoenix club AFC Rushden & Diamonds?

Gutted though :(

I think both points are pretty accurate i.e., the club is formally wound up on Monday allowing K*ttering to move in with JE as the manager.

A very sad day but my son & I have great memories which cannot be taken away from us.

Best wishes to you all.

Phil.

The Trust would have to ask the members what they want the money used for, considering they donated it for season ticket purposes. I believe there was also the option of getting your money back?

I've asked for you (though I had to get my 11 year old to show me how!)
