The Beasants need pursuing vigorously, for two people apparently so innocent they have totally gone off the radar!
I cannot forgive people who will not stand up and be counted - everything we have heard has been hearsay and not backed up and the lack of competence and capability tells me that they were never serious contenders to run a club - how could KC possibly have been so taken in by this pair, it is shambolic!
They need to pay for their mistake financially and who knows maybe even in the law courts if some of the allegations are true!

Believe it! KC wasn,t taken in by the Beasants, It was all part of the plan. The Beasants had sod all to lose, they were already skint (not now though) IMHO this has been a very well set up rip off. The people we should be feeling sorry for are Gill Wignall and other people that are owed money honestly loaned etc to try to keep the club afloat. Who in their right mind would have bought in the Beasants to save an ailing football club with their pedigree ;)

KC of course..! It now appears crystal clear he was in his right mind and knew exactly what he was doing.

The people I really feel sorry for are the I'boro Diamonds Trust guys. Tony Jones and Frank Langley were probably the first to acquire Nene Park for football, thought they'd done a great deal in handing it to Max then the community. Now the Diamonds club they built there has completely gone. I do hope they support the new club, I know it'll be a full circle for them having come up that way once before.

I think people have seen through KC but he and Colin Hill are shrewd businessman + what's done is done! I think Ladak summed up everybody's opinion of the Beasant's last night!
But three things really gets my goat:-
Good people like the Wignall's are left with nothing after twice bailing out the Beasant's.
All these rumours over Dale's memorial fund. What is the real truth?
The Trust! Sold us out + then kept Helen Thompson on the Trust board while she was CEO at Corby and then surprise, surprise HT turns up by KC's side - talk about conflict of interest not forgetting the 'T' word! Unbelievable!

Care to expand on the "Trust sold us out" bit ? I expect the Trust kept HT onside because;-
A) she had some influence on the Conference board
B) she'd be a threat to the Beasants (they who BANNED her from NP).
Now tell me, who's the "real" villians here? KC? The Beasants? The Trust?
You can't be serious if you say all 3.

That's exactly what I'm saying!
The Trust have been as useful as a chocolate teapot + as communicative as the Beasants!
If we are of the opinion that we've been taken in by KC then how much did the Trust know what was really the agenda here when one of their board 'defects' to Corby and then conveniently turns up at KC's side on the day R + D is no more! Or am I missing something here!

I'm pretty much with you Pressman, but I think the blame list extends to ALL stakeholders in our club (including the fanbase) since the fateful transfer deadline day of 2004. The blame is now consigned to history anyway and the only relevance it has in my view is for our legacy and how other clubs can learn from us to avoid a similar fate.
However, Helen Thompson's role (her who bleeds R&D apparently) begs huge moral questions. Personally, I think she should resign (or be removed) from the Trust Board immediately. I don't want HT having any say in how the money we raised is spent and if she is involved in any phoenix club, I won't be.
From what I can see, she is a fan and great supporter of local football in our community. Not a supporter of Rushden & Diamonds, and there IS a difference. I commend HT for her work in Northants football but, in the alleged events of the last few weeks, that has been entirely inconsistent with preserving the future of Rushden & Diamonds. What has been "achieved" may well preserve professional football in East Northants, but it has killed R&D and will kill KTFC.
Fans of football or football fans? HT and those who voted to go to Nene Park whoever plays there are the former. Most on here are the latter.

Well said Welsh.
If I remember rightly from Thursday night, didn't John Souster say that he and HT were ready to step down? It's not before time for either of them IMO!
