SB was prevented from being a director at the time he first got involved - the Directors then were Calder and Beasant Jnr. My understanding is that this related to bankruptcy. By the time Calder disappeared I believe SB had discharged his bankruptcy and could again hold directorships. Whether SB can be regarded as a "fit and proper person" must be the subject of debate.
