I think you are all putting the cart before the horse concerning yourself, at this stage, about badge design etc.

What you need is for people to step up to the plate, with the necessary administration/management experience, to fill the important roles of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee otherwise the whole venture will fall flat on it's face before it ever gets off the ground.

I agree but while the badge may be a little trivial compared to those aspects, I don't think there's any harm looking into badge design, afterall the identity of the club is still an important aspect of our new club and lets be honest, most of us here aren't going to have the necessary skills or experience to fill those roles. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't discuss every aspect of the club however significant or insignificant they may be at this point, most of us just want to take our minds off old rdfc at the moment.

And about that phoenix badge, good effort, although personally I prefer mattreddan's badge, but I guess at some stage we'll have a vote on it

I think this is a quality job, I really like this design !! Keeps some of our heritage, but with a nice update !

Agreed, I really do like that one.

Why not combine this design with mattreddon's modern looking circular design. If I was any good with graphics I'd have a go but sadly I'm not!!!

Thats strange how similar the irthlingborough diamonds badge was to the one I mocked up with the blue/gold circle rim considering I had no idea what the ib diamonds badge looked like

I like this, but would prefer it round - then we can fit more stars around it for each league title we win ;) ;)
