I believe the Ploppies had originally applied to enter the Northants Senior Youth League, but then withdrew their application as they are changing leagues for next season. It made sense for us to take their place (how ironic  ) as the first 2 rounds of the cup had already been drawn.

Please remember that this is all 'provisionally' at the moment, we still haven't been formally accepted into the league yet.

Although good and I am pleased these things are sorted, I am suprised the Northants Senior Youth would let a side with no first team to play in the league. Floodgates and open spring to mind.

Then again sometimes its about who you know not what you know

Why are you being critical? The Northants Senior Youth League ,if we are accepted will giving us an fantastic opportunity and we should thank them for it, not question them. This will give the U18s side we're assembly a good education and lay good foundations for an adult side the following year. This was also voted on by the fans via an overwhelming majority at the first AFC meeting.

It sounds like you don't want us to field a team next year.
