From what I've heard from the Crusaders fallout (being a northerner) the RFL have a bond on the Racecourse that helped Crusaders stay afloat. Whether that affects Wrexham I don't knoe.

I'd guess the cancellation of the two friendlies will remind the Conference Board of how Chester City started their aborted season, and the current Wrexham owners might not be able to give the guarantee that their club will finish the season. However, Wrexham clearly have a significant and passionate fanbase and that might make the Conference Board think twice about throwing them out.

That should make no absolutely no difference, if Wrexham's current directors cannot give the necessary financial guarantees, bearing in minding our fate at the hands of the Conference board in similar circumstances last month.
