It's not about how much they cost to make, it's how much they cost US to buy, transport, administer and get a profit from it to build a UCL team for next season.DiamondCarvell wrote:because i understand that the club need to make a profit and i doubt they cost £25 to makeDiamond Warrior wrote:Why moan about £30 being 'too steep' then?

what you have too remember is we are a ucl team, not a premiership teamTrek wrote:I think that £29.99 a shirt, bearing in mind the relatively small production runs, represents excellent value for money compared with the cost of last season's R&DFC shirt and the current prices of most of the Premiership club shirts where some are being sold in excess of £50!
You're missing the point, Premiership clubs make zillions out of shirt sales which they don't actually need because of the Sky money whereas the excellent service that AFC provide in selling these replica shirts to a small number of fans at less than £30 is probably not contributing much in the way of funds for the new club, bearing in mind Dave Albon's earlier comments.DiamondCarvell wrote: what you have too remember is we are a ucl team, not a premiership team
Also bear in mind that unlike those Premiership giants, we really do need the money!Trek wrote:...the excellent service that AFC provide in selling these replica shirts to a small number of fans at less than £30 is probably not contributing much in the way of funds for the new club, bearing in mind Dave Albon's earlier comments.
