Dead easy to register for Paypal. All you need is debit/credit card. It's very covenient and saves postage etc. ;)

I'm the same. I highly doubt this membership will be restricted to computer users but will await something official.

Clerical forms were available last night and could be posted to the Kiln Park address. Bear in mind every paper transaction we do as a club has a financial impact so the preferred method is internet, but it's not the only way. I expect someone shall be posting up a paper application form soon.

Surely a cash transaction is better for the club than Paypal - other than a few minutes of a volunteer's time, what are the other costs of a cash payment ? I'm not a big fan of Paypal as it tries to cajole you to register a debit card, which means you are then reliant a lot more on Paypal's fraud prevention processes than if you use a credit card.

We are working on a pdf/word version which you will be able to download and post/hand in for those who prefer not to use paypal.
At this stage Paypal was by far the most cost effective method to take credit/debit card payments, it also enables us to collate all the data electronically without anyone having to copy from a hard copy to an excel sheet. No one way is better than the other it's entirely your preference.
With regards to the business plan, we have drawn an initial one up. Ralph last night when asked what our target to raise is, answered....as much as possible which is right. The business plan will evolve and take into account may factors, however it is sensible and more importantly sustainable.
The target is something we as member owners will be able to work together to achieve

Thanks for that. Do we know what the dates for registration with the FA / NFA / UCL etc are? We seemed to be given conflicting information from "outsiders" about this back in April. I believe there are various rules about entry into FA competitions - e.g. you can't enter the FA Cup unless you played in the FA Vase the previous season - I believe the entry date for the Vase was 1st April this year.

It appears about as straighforward as a roundabout!, however we have been speaking with the FA and are working closely in conjunction with Supporters Direct and the FA. It is certainly the next big thing on the horizon after the constitution/membership.

Can someone explain this 'Community Benefit Society' in more detail?
