I thought the suggestion by a caller on 5 Live to have a Poppy armband was a good idea as an alternative, as that doesn't affect the underlying kit design, which is the reason for FIFA's rejection, and is easy to do.
You may have noticed on Thursday we tried some stickers on the AFC R&D Kit, but they weren't really sticky enough for the shirt material we have, though a few stayed on for the walk to the pitch at least.

They could even hold up a large poppy instead of the St Georges cross at each end during the minutes silence.

Ash Meeks had his on under a tracksuit top for most of the game so when he came on, Redsnapper managed to get a pic before the sticker fell off:

Well spotted AK.
He made the keeper save this shot and he only came on the pitch a few seconds earlier, and this was his first touch of the ball.

Nice. Yeah, I think Phys will have to use some special tape :-) I think only 2 or 3 made it to the pitch for the lineup.
