How come this was so well supported yet when they were held at NP nobody went? I hear there was 100 or so people there sat, yet at the RDFC ones there was 35 max.STAGMAN wrote:news flash just heard we made £1,173.80p on sat nightTHANK YOU ALL GREAT STUFF
I think (or at least hope) that people are buying into our community philosophy which is at the heart of AFC R&D, and the attendances at the race night, the last couple of quizzes and the Christmas Party are evidence of that. The old club was notoriously bad at engaging with the local community, and we are deperate not to make the same mistakes.OsanoIsKing wrote:How come this was so well supported yet when they were held at NP nobody went? Not criticising before anyone bites my head off, just asking.
Someone asked that exact question on the UCL Facebook page a month or so back. I simply said that we now know where the money is going. It isn't going to fill a black hole, or into the pockets of an absolute egg.OsanoIsKing wrote: How come this was so well supported yet when they were held at NP nobody went? The events were organised by the fundraising committee, which i'm 95% sure would have meant the money went to the trust. I know the effort that went in to organise them and seeing nobody support the events hardly was dissapointing.BartonRaz wrote:Someone asked that exact question on the UCL Facebook page a month or so back.
