There has also been tons done down there that isn't obvious as well, David Hales has worked hard behind the scenes on the various electrics (it was him that got the water heater working in Ann's Pantry). I think the D&D is looking so much better thanks to the efforts of volunteers, but we've still got bits and bobs to do.

I've only just finished work so won't make it over there tonight as I'd planned (even I have to eat ;) ) but I'll try and get over there tomorrow evening to assess where we are with everything - then I can post up a list of jobs outstanding.

One thing I do know is we'll need a couple of volunteers down there Friday evening and Saturday to help us prepare the base of the new stand for concreting. Not sure of the time yet, but it'll probably be from about 6pm Friday - thankfully this should be an easier job than last week.

The D&D is our home for the foreseeable future and we'll need to keep on top of things throughout the year as well.

I know I sound like a dripping tap, but if you can spare any time to help out and spread the load then please let us know, especially if you can help out on matchdays - that would bring a broad smile to Chas' face !!

As a club we are only as strong as our supporter base - as a community club a good percentage of those supporters need to get involved. The future progress of the club will be mirrored by the number of people helping out !!

Right I'm off to have some dinner :D
