I too heard the same thing, I think it was in one of the excellent articles about the Chester debacle on http://www.twohundredpercent.net/

Apparently, the meeting of the Clubs which will decide Chester's fate is at Nene Park, next Thursday.

Does that mean a nice little bit of income for the club? :)

Id rather they sent us some decent refs to be honest ;) Money can't buy points you deserve to get from matches!

The fact is that the Conference were bullied into accepting Chester by the FA. If you remember before the start of the season the Conference were on the verge of booting them out, but the FA forced the issue by threatening to withdraw the promotion places and accusing the Conference of not sticking to it's own rules. This problem is of Chester's making, not the Conference's.

Will they "do a Weymouth?"

Has anyone told them that they won't make any money from an English non-league club who don't even own their own ground? I bet they don't know the full extent of Chester's debts.
