"AFC Rushden & Diamonds has unveiled its new home and away kit for the forthcoming 2012-13 season.
The playing strip was designed by Mark Southwell who won the kit design competition following a fans vote in April 2012
The home kit features the club colours of red, white and blue along with a unique sublimated club badge within the fabric of the shirt.
The playing strip will also see the first team and under-18s return to wearing white socks.
The away strip is a traditional yellow and black again with the sublimated club badge within the fabric of the shirt.
Vice chairman Jon Ward said: “There has been a lot of hard work from Mark, the club and shirt manufacturer Tempest Sports to come up with this fantastic bespoke shirt.
“We wanted something special for the inaugural season and I think we have achieved that with this playing strip.”
The players will wear the new kit at the historic first senior match against Wellingborough Town on Saturday, July 14, and fans will be able to pre-order replica shirts at the match.
The replica shirts will also be available to pre-order online via the club shop.
The club is now VAT registered and it has had to take that into account when setting the pricing for the replica shirts.
Love the Home Kit.
Love the Away Kit.
Love the Goalkeeper Kit.
Tomorrow is going to be such a great day, despite only 1 match, and to get this far in such a short space of time is just amazing, everyone has been fantastic!
Classy looking kits, well done everyone.
Just one thing. When Alfie scores tomorrow, which badge will he kiss? On the breast or the side?
Can`t wait until the k/o.
