When I spoke to Troy Farden earlier in the week he mentioned someone called 'Devon' to me, said he's very good. People on the UCL Facebook page are saying that he'd "walk into most UCL Prem sides" and "should be playing a lot higher".

Has Danny Bird signed for another club or has he not made his mind up where he wants to play?

Our squad has a very youthful feel to it, clearly Starms is bringing in players that he's worked with before and clearly these lads are quite prepared to drop down 'a level' to join him, which says two things: one, players defiantly are excited about playing for our club and recognise the potential and two, they want to play for Starms.

Well done on signing Sam Brown, he played for AFC Kempston Rovers for the last couple of seasons and was total quality at left back! His experience of both UCL 1 and the Premier, last season will hold him in good stead for this side.

It's all looking good, hope to get over on Tuesday evening to see the 1st game.
